The 2011/ 2012 campaign is now over.
Your help has resulted in nine annual scholarships awarded by Camfed to underprivileged girls in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Ghana and Malawi.

The Community Outreach Committee has decided to give visibility to the right of education that all child has. Camfed is, for this reason, the organization to which the fundraising is being organized. Camfed uses a community-based, holistic approach to select girls in Sub-Saharan African countries as being the most in need and to secure their support throughout their development- from primary school years until adulthood. The Camfed programme allows these girls to get into school, do well academically, and maximize the value of her education after graduation.

A team of Clare Hall athletes running the British 10K for Camfed

Caitlin Wylie, Irina Stefan, David Weiss, Timo McGregor and Sara Serradas-Duarte form the team of Clare Hallers which is running the  British 10K for  Camfed. Our goal is to raise £500, which corresponds to three years of a full secondary school scholarship provided to a young girl in Africa.
