The Cambridge Trust - Clare Hall Talks series launched on 31 January 2017, with a plenary session attended by Mrs Helen Pennant, Director of Cambridge Trust, and included presentations by Brynja Thorgeirsdottir, Elias Nosrati, Heidi Mogstad and M. Wesam Al-Asali. Read more about our speakers here.
The series looks to promote the research projects undertaken by Cambridge Trust scholars based at Clare Hall with an aim to widen their academic network across the University of Cambridge and internationally.
The talks are organised once a term with each session including four presentations by Clare Hall based Cambridge Trust scholars. Each presentation lasts 15 minutes and gives the scholars the opportunity to discuss their current or most recent research projects. This is followed by a brief Q&A. The audience usually comprises of Cambridge Trust students, affiliated academics, Clare Hall Fellows, students, and other Cambridge-based scholars.
The series is convened by Dr Annamaria Motrescu-Mayes, Fellow and Tutor, Clare Hall.
