Developing New Drugs for Rare Diseases
Agnes C. And Frank D. McKay Professor, Medical School, University of Michigan
We have endeavoured for more than 30 years to discover and develop novel therapeutics for a group of diseases involving the lysosome, a cellular organelle. Eliglustat tartrate, now in worldwide use for Gaucher disease type 1, was the result of our early efforts. Our current focus is those diseases that affect the central nervous system.
Please note this event will take place in the Richard Eden Suite, at our West Court site.
