Susan Steinberg Talk & Film Screening

Event information

29 November 2017 - 5.30pm in the Richard Eden Suite

Friends of Clare Hall Art Society (FCHAS) are excited to present a screening of Susan Steinberg’s documentary film ‘Mirrors to Windows: The Artist as Woman’ – featuring ten extraordinary women artists, followed by a talk and Q&A with the film director.

In her director’s statement, Susan remarks: “Mirrors to Windows... aims to reach out to the creative spirit which resides in each of us, demystifying the elusive artistic practice and making it accessible to a wide audience. This film offers the voices of ten diverse, dynamic and inspirational role models – ten women, across three generations, who are making art work in the 21st century.”

The screening will begin at 6.00pm, with a running time of 76 minutes and will be followed by Susan’s Talk.

The event is free for members of Clare Hall and members of the Clare Hall Art Committee. Please RSVP to FCHAS Secretary Dr Annamaria Motrescu-Mayes, at artsociety@clarehall.cam.ac.uk by 26 November 2017.
