£20,649 - £22,503 (depending on experience)

Clare Hall, a College for advanced study in the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Gardener responsible for maintaining College grounds to the highest standards.

With a real passion for gardening, you will carry out a variety of gardening and horticultural tasks. Under the guidance from the Head Gardener, you will be responsible for trimming, pruning, planting and cultivating plants as well as lawn mowing and leaf clearing. You will have previous experience of operating garden machinery and have experience of record keeping. Also, you will have responsibility for the maintenance of the College indoor swimming pool.

Working in a small team, you will be flexible, enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn. You will have high standards and attention to detail and be prepared to complete a variety of tasks across the gardens and grounds.

Due to the requirements of the swimming pool facility, the working hours will be from 7.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
