2021-22 Intimate Engagements series continues

Clare Hall is delighted to continue the 2021-22 season of Intimate Engagements, with the next concert set to take place on Saturday 19 February, with a performance of Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle.

This much-loved series started in 2006 under the artistic direction of Abigail Dolan, and has earned a reputation in the musical life of Cambridge for its thoughtful programming, and for the high quality of performances, which have showcased internationally-known musicians including Emma Kirkby, Charles Owen and Alina Ibragimova.

Patrick HemmerlĂ©, the series’ Artistic Director, comments:
'This year’s programme presents a collection of fascinating musicians, and attempts to bring together the familiar and the less familiar in concert programmes that are structurally coherent. Our offering ranges from solo recital to one of the largest projects attempted at Clare Hall – Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle. We hope that you will enjoy this return to live music, and thank you to our Music Angels for their fidelity over the years.'
