Applications welcome for Hart Research Prize and Hart-Marshall Humanities Prize 2022

We are pleased to invite applications for the Hart Research Prize and Hart-Marshall Humanities Prize 2022. Both prizes are supported by an endowment kindly gifted by Professor Jonathan Hart with the aim of supporting research progression. The value of each prize is £250 and the awardees will be invited to this year’s College Awards Event, due to be held on Wednesday 1 June.

Application for the prizes is open to current Masters students who are planning to progress to doctoral study. Those students wishing to apply should send a copy of the abstract of their masters dissertation (a late-stage draft is acceptable for dissertations currently in preparation); a short research proposal for their proposed doctoral research; and a brief cover letter containing a paragraph of motivation covering their plans for their research career. Applications should be received by the Tutorial Office by Monday 2 May 2022.
