Emeritus Fellow wins 6th World China Studies Contribution Award

Dr Michael Loewe, Emeritus Fellow of Clare Hall, received a 6th World China Studies Contribution Award yesterday, for his research in Sinology.

He commented:
'I am honoured by the World Forum on China Studies for the award of Contribution to China Studies in the World. Many years have passed since the beginning of my cooperation with Chinese scholars; in the process, I fully appreciate their contribution to the study of the history of Chinese civilisation, and it is their contribution that has greatly expanded the research on this topic. Scholars from the East and the West have benefited a lot from these contributions.'
