Sigrid Lupieri (Centre of Development Studies) and Dr Annamaria Motrescu-Mayes (Fellow and Tutor at Clare Hall, Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement) are co-organising No place like home? New perspectives on displacement and the modern refugee regime.
This interdisciplinary workshop brings together scholars, policy-makers, and representatives from the UN and NGOs to examine the limits of the current refugee regime and explore alternative solutions. More specifically, this event will be a starting point for a discussion on the suitability and durability of existing solutions to refugee crises and will help bridge the divide between those who formulate international policies, those who implement them, and the refugees who are ultimately affected.
If you would like to attend this event, places are limited, and registration will close on the 8 June. For more information see www.refugeesworkshop.com/
