Student yoga blog to feature within University's Festival of Wellbeing

The University of Cambridge's Festival of Wellbeing begins next week, with a wonderful array of events, talks and resources for our community to tap into.

Clare Hall's blog featuring Ruta Marcinkeviciute, in which she shares the impact of yoga on her time at the College, will feature within the Festival's communications output.

Discussing the yoga sessions she organised in collaboration with the Graduate Student Body and Tutorial Office here, Ruta comments: 'I felt that together with the improvement in my mental and physical wellbeing, I became more motivated, creative and energetic in my research work. Moreover, although we could not physically meet, I felt mutual support between attendees and a sense of belonging to a kind of team, made up of caring individuals.'

The Festival of Wellbeing runs from 28 June - 9 July 2021, and all students and University or college staff are welcome. You can explore the programme now, on the Festival website: https://www.wellfest.admin.cam.ac.uk/
