Running until 16 June 2022, Clare Hall Art Committee is currently presenting The Art and Heart of Leonardo - an exhibition chiefly of Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical drawings, as seen through contemporary eyes.
Francis Wells, co-curator of the exhibition, is willing to offer tours, during which he will explore the extraordinary observational skills and insights Leonardo achieved when he dissected and drew the heart.

Clare Hall student and Cambridge Trust scholar, Moniruz Zaman, recently met HRH The Prince of Wales at a Cambridge Trust event.
Moniruz is an LLM (Master of Law) student and is recipient of The HRH Prince of Wales Commonwealth Scholarship, which was launched in spring 2019 to support postgraduate students from Commonwealth nations studying at the University of Cambridge in fields which focus on practical themes affecting the future of those nations.

Dr Leila Essa, a Life Member of Clare Hall, has been appointed as Assistant Professor in Comparative Literature at Utrecht University from August 2022 and additionally been awarded a VENI grant by the Dutch Research Council (NWO). This grant will allow her to spend the first years on this permanent position developing her new research project, which rethinks authorial intention through a focus on authors from marginalised communities – and on their strategies for discursive interventions.

Rachel Murray-Watson, a PhD student from Clare Hall, has been awarded the I.E. Melhus Prize by the American Phytopathological Society, one of the largest plant science societies in the world.
Rachel is part of the Theoretical and Computational Epidemiology Group at the Department of Plant Sciences here at the University of Cambridge. The group looks at models of plant disease with the aim of improving predictive models and implementing better control techniques.

We are pleased to invite applications for the Hart Research Prize and Hart-Marshall Humanities Prize 2022. Both prizes are supported by an endowment kindly gifted by Professor Jonathan Hart with the aim of supporting research progression. The value of each prize is £250 and the awardees will be invited to this year’s College Awards Event, due to be held on Wednesday 1 June.
