Intimate Engagements programme 2021-22 announced

Clare Hall is delighted to reveal the programme for the 2021-22 season of Intimate Engagements. This much-loved series started in 2006 under the artistic direction of Abigail Dolan, and has earned a reputation in the musical life of Cambridge for its thoughtful programming, and for the high quality of performances, which have showcased internationally-known musicians including Emma Kirkby, Charles Owen and Alina Ibragimova.

Patrick Hemmerlé, the series’ new Artistic Director, comments:
'I am happy to start this role at a time in which live music is coming back after a year of drought. This year’s programme presents a collection of fascinating musicians, and attempts to bring together the familiar and the less familiar in concert programmes that are structurally coherent. Our offering ranges from solo recital to one of the largest projects attempted at Clare Hall – Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle. We hope that you will enjoy this return to live music, and thank you to our Music Angels for their fidelity over the years.'
