Life Member discusses Covid-19's impact on global supply chains in podcast

Dr Yossi Sheffi, Elisha Gray II Professor of Engineering Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), appears in a new podcast focusing on global supply chains in the pandemic.

Dr Sheffi is an expert in systems optimisation, risk analysis and supply chain management, which are the subjects he researches and teaches at MIT, both at the MIT School of Engineering and at the Sloan School of Management.

In the podcast, titled Hubwonk, Joe Selvaggi interviews Dr Sheffi about the unprecedented global supply and demand shocks created by the Covid-19 pandemic, and how effective supply chain managers in an integrated world economy have adapted to provide consumers with food, goods and vaccines in record time.
