This year Clare Hall welcomes Anne Sebba, the award-winning British biographer, writer, lecturer and journalist to share her latest work on the lives and experiences of Parisian women during the WW2 Nazi occupation of France. Entitled Parisian Women and the Nazi Occupation: Uncovering their lives and their relationships, the lecture will explore how the women of Paris responded to the occupation and why so many of them have refused to talk about their experiences.
This event has been kindly sponsored by Sir Charles Chadwyck-Healey and will be held on the 1 November in the Auditorium at Robinson College. Clare Hall will also host a small book exhibition organised with the generous support of the University Library.
Please note this event is now sold out. Any enquiries please contact the Development Team at firstname.lastname@example.org
