What is your area of study?

I am studying in the Geography Department, working towards an MPhil in Anthropocene Studies.

Where are you from?

I am from the west coast of Canada. I was born and raised primarily on Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh lands, also known as Vancouver, BC.

How long have you been a Clare Hall student for?

I have been a student at Clare Hall since October 2020.

What do you love about Clare Hall?

I love the people that I’ve met at Clare Hall -- from boardgame nights with my housemates, to the green team and access and equality meetings with college and GSB members, I appreciate the welcoming, supportive, and thoughtful community here.

What are you hoping to achieve in your GSB position?

I hope to work with the college to ensure that Clare Hall is reaching its green potential -- through continuing its commitment to divestment, developing policies and plans that support green infrastructure and initiatives, and working to eliminate food waste (including packaging). I intend to amplify, listen, and respond to student interests; facilitate opportunities to learn, share, and grow together in sustainable ways of being; support community and student wellbeing overall; and centre access, equality, and environmental justice throughout my work with the GSB and green team.

I also hope to be approachable; you’re welcome to connect with me anytime through the green team email.
