Michael Y. Bennett is an Associate Professor of English and Affiliated Faculty in Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
A theatre theorist and critic known for his work on absurd drama, philosophy of theatre, Edward Albee, and Oscar Wilde, he is the author or editor of a dozen books. He is currently at work on two books: Between the Lines, a Philosophy of Theatre (Oxford University Press, under contract) and, as Editor, The Routledge Companion to Absurdist Literature (Routledge, under contract).
