Graham Walker (cello), Eleanor Ryan (violin) and Patrick Hemmerlé (piano) present a programme shaped by the colour and character of Irish folk music. At its heart is Frank Martin’s Trio on Irish Tunes, a lively and captivating work that remains one of his most beloved chamber pieces.

Folk song arrangements by Benjamin Britten and Ludwig van Beethoven offer striking contrasts in style, yet both reveal a shared fascination with Ireland’s distinctive musical voice.
