SDG & AI+ Academic Conferences 2026

Date: Friday 31 July – Saturday 15 August 2026

Two non-profit, peer-reviewed academic conferences will be held in Cambridge in summer 2026. Both events are organised by UniHive and hosted by Clare Hall and Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge.


SDG Conference

Dates: Friday 31 July – Saturday 1 August 2026
Location: Clare Hall, University of Cambridge

The SDG Conference focuses on research and practice related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, bringing together scholars across policy, finance, science, engineering, and the social sciences to address climate action, biodiversity, inclusion, governance, and sustainable development outcomes.

AI+ Conference

Dates: Friday 14 August – Saturday 15 August 2026
Location: Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge

The AI+ Conference examines the real-world application and societal impact of artificial intelligence across areas such as health, education, public services, infrastructure, finance, and the environment, with a strong emphasis on responsible and trustworthy AI.
