Discovering Clare Hall’s Taster Tables
Once a month, Clare Hall Kitchens host the Taster Tables initiative, a thoughtful project designed to support sustainability, celebrate seasonal ingredients, and encourage healthier choices across the College community. Prepared by our talented Catering team, these tables offer small but inspiring bites that show how food can be nourishing, exciting, and sustainable.
Today’s taster table carried the cheerful slogan “Rawsome” and featured health shots, nibbles, and mini desserts made entirely from fresh products. By keeping ingredients raw and minimally processed, the dishes preserved their natural nutrients while delivering plenty of flavour. One standout was a smoothie made with banana, cocoa, and sunflower seed butter, freshly prepared in our kitchens and so popular that Associate James Tanna remarked he “could keep having this all the time”.
