Clare Hall Household Item Swap

As part of Clare Hall’s active effort to reuse and repurpose household items, we are running an item Swap for everyone at Clare Hall!

If you are moving out and have too many things to transport, or if you just want to de-clutter your room, then the Swap is the place for you! Alternatively, if you are looking for some new sustainable clothes or wanting to revamp your room for next year, the Swap is also the place for you!

This event will take place on Monday 4 May, 8am-9pm, in the ALB. All the items are FREE!

As the ALB has limited storage, each person is allowed to donate up to 7 items each. We will only accept good quality items that can be re-used, as well as nothing too bulky. This includes:

Clothing:

• Light jackets
• Quality jumpers
• T-shirts
• Exercise gear
• Dress shirts/blouses
• Scarves/hats/gloves
• Jeans or trousers
• Tote bags
• Umbrellas

Home/Room Items:

• Storage boxes/organisers
• String lights or fairy lights
• Desk organisers

Kitchenware:

• Reusable travel mugs/coffee flasks
• Food containers/Tupperware

Children’s items:

• Clothes
• Toys

We will not accept:

• Bulky items (furniture, bedding/mattresses/duvets, suitcases)
• Books
• Bikes
