Dr James Denholm

I currently hold a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Radiology (University of Cambridge) and with AstraZeneca.

I develop methods using machine learning, AI and computer vision to combine and analyse multi-modal medical imaging data including histological images, spatial metabolomic data and immunofluorescence imaging. I work on projects concerning chronic kidney disease, prostate cancer and renal cancer.

Before my current role, I held a post-doc position between the Department of Pathology, the Department of Applied Maths and Theoretical Physics and the Cambridge spin-out company Lyzeum Ltd, where we developed a computer-vision-based test for coeliac disease.
