Kailen Patel is an External Officer of the Graduate Student Body Committee (GSB) 2023/24

Kailen is a first year PhD student researching aeroelastic instabilities in aircraft through the Harding Distinguished Postgraduate Scholarship. Previously, he completed his undergraduate MEng degree at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, where he was awarded The Rex Moir prize for ranking top of his cohort and The Schuldham Plate as The College’s best graduating student in any subject.

Kailen is an External Officer alongside Yash Sharma and he greatly looks forward to hosting and attending different college formals. Outside of his work, Kailen is an avid cricket player and hopes to help bring Cupper’s victory to Clare Hall (& Clare)!
