CHBC May Bumps Riverside Picnic

On behalf of the Clare Hall Boat Club Committee, we are delighted to welcome College members, family, and friends to the first annual May Bumps Riverside Picnic on Saturday, 15 June 2024.

There will be a CHBC Marquee on Ditton Meadows from 11:30am, which will offer limited seating, Pimm’s and non-alcoholic drinks, and light refreshments. We encourage bringing a picnic blanket and packed lunch to sit out on the grass and enjoy watching the Bumps. There will be a group walking together from Clare Hall around 10:30am on the day, more details to follow. The exact location of the Marquee will also be sent directly to registrants.

We would love to see you there to cheer on our crews as they aim for blades! Please book your tickets below as soon as possible, as they are being sold on a first come first served basis. Tickets include your first drink free, a CHBC glass (for alcoholic beverages only), light refreshments, and entry into a raffle for some prizes.

Please note: entry for children under the age of 3 is free and no tickets are required.

If you are a Clare Hall student, please pick up your free wristband at the Porter’s Lodge. For any other ticket holders, please bring confirmation of your ticket purchase to the Marquee on the 15th, and you will receive your wristband there.

There will be toilets on-site, courtesy of Gonville and Caius College, as well as ice cream and coffee for sale nearby.
