Michaelmas Term English Literature Special Interest Group Meeting

Friday 29 November 2029 in the Meeting Room: 11:00am – 12:00 followed by optional lunch.

The speaker will be Dr Clarissa Chenovick (Visiting Fellow) who will speak on ‘Blood Piety Before and After the Reformation’.

Dr Clarissa Chenovick

Dr Clarissa Chenovick is Assistant Professor of British Renaissance Literature at Florida Atlantic University, a former Folger Mellon Fellow at the Folger Shakespeare Library (2019-2020), and the recipient of a 2024-2025 research fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The English Literature SIG will meet termly. Details of the full lent term SIG meeting will be issued later in the year. Convenors for the meeting(s) will be Dr Clarissa Chenovick (Visiting Fellow), Dr Yu Onuma (Visiting Fellow), and Dr Anthony Harris (Research Fellow).
