About the concert
Join us for a concert by the daughter and mother duo of harpist Eleanor Medcalf and soprano Susan Gritton.
An alumna of Queens’ College, Cambridge, Eleanor attended the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music and was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for two years. Since then she has performed in many major venues throughout the UK.
British soprano Susan Gritton is a winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Memorial Award, and has performed in concert, recital and opera on many of the world’s major stages. Operatic highlights include title roles at Glyndebourne, Covent Garden, English National Opera and in Munich.
