Sashiko Denim Repair Workshop
Join us for a hands-on denim mending workshop using Sashiko, a traditional Japanese embroidery technique meaning “little stabs.” Originally developed over 400 years ago to repair and strengthen garments, Sashiko transforms simple stitches into beautiful geometric patterns.
- Sunday 10 May in the ALB, from 10:00 to 12:00 with 2 slots of 10 people each.
- Bring along your favourite pair of jeans, shorts or jacket with holes in them and we’ll give them a new life!
- If you joined the first slot, you are welcome to stay during the rest of the workshop.
No experience needed — The workshop will be a relaxed and welcoming space to learn, mend, and make something special.
