Taiji (Tai Chi) and QiGong Sessions: Michaelmas 2025

We are pleased to introduce new Taiji (Tai Chi) and QiGong sessions at Clare Hall for the Michaelmas term. The sessions will be taking place in the Richard Eden Suite on Wednesdays during lunchtime, starting on 1 October 2025.
QiGong is a system of movement and breathing, developed in ancient China as a means of maintaining health and prolonging life. It promotes good circulation and alignment, and effectively balances the autonomic nervous system to improve resilience to stress.
Taiji (Tai Chi) is an art of moving in a strong, stable and physiological natural way, with roots in Chinese Martial Arts. It develops good posture and muscles while promoting mental relaxation.
These sessions bring clarity and mental balance while invigorating the body, offering a more dynamic experience than many expect — the perfect antidote to long hours of sitting!
Please sign up for the sessions through the spreadsheet here.
