Clare Hall community comes together for London Carol Service
Clare Hall’s annual Carol Service took place in the beautiful setting of St Lawrence Jewry in London, bringing together Fellows, students, alumni, and friends of the College for a joyful evening of music and celebration.

The Service was generously sponsored and organised by two Fellow Commoners, whose support made this much loved occasion possible. The programme combined Nativity readings with a rich selection of carols sung in English, French, German, and Polish, celebrating the international spirit of the Clare Hall community.
Clare Hall’s own Choir once again performed Hush! my dear, a piece written especially for the College by Lucy Walker, Clare Hall’s Composer-in-Residence. Their performance added a particularly warm and personal note to the Service.

Following the Service, guests gathered for a festive Reception with mulled wine and canapés. Many of Clare Hall’s Life Members based in London joined the celebration, enjoying lively conversation, delicious food, and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere.

Clare Hall sends warm thanks to everyone who helped make the evening such a memorable celebration of the season!
