Srijit Seal, former President of the Graduate Student Body at Clare Hall, has won the prestigious Student Union’s Student Award for Best College Officer 2022-23 (PG). Srijit is the first Clare Hall student to receive this award. The Best College Officer Award recognises his contributions and commitment to serving the Clare Hall community.

The award citation celebrates the the GSB 2021-22 and the impact he has had on Clare Hall during his tenure as the President of the GSB. Srijit’s contribution to the life of Clare Hall during his tenure, together with his Vice President and members of the student body,  including successfully requesting the opportunity to introduce halal meat options at Friday dinners and being part of the team to commission the first College Punt for Clare Hall, named after John Benstead, our longest serving staff member. Srijit says “This achievement would not have been possible without the students, fellows, management & staff of the college”
