It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Professor Nicholas Lash on 11 July, 2020. A memorial lecture has been organised on the 46th anniversary of his election to the Norris Hulse Chair of Divinity at the University of Cambridge, delivered by Dr John McDade, former Principal of Heythorp College.

The memorial will be held on Thursday 7 November 2024, from 6pm, at Fisher House, Guildhall Street, Cambridge CB2 3NH.

Nicholas Lash was one of the most formidable and respected Roman Catholic theologians of his day, and the first Catholic to be appointed Norris-Hulse Professor of Divinity at Cambridge. We offer our deep condolences to his family.
