We are proud to celebrate our Fellow Commoner and Composer-in-Residence, Lucy Walker, who had one of her compositions performed at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 13 September.

The piece, “Today” (2021), is an early choral composition and features as the lead track on Lucy’s debut CD, released this summer and now available on Spotify. Its inclusion in such a prestigious event is a wonderful recognition of her artistry.

During her residency at Clare Hall, Lucy’s music will be included in our forthcoming concerts, with new compositions presented alongside classical repertoire — offering audiences exciting opportunities to experience her creative voice.
