‘We are very grateful to Clare Hall, and to Cambridge in general, for the true love and happiness they have given us’
On 29 July, Clare Hall students Snezhana Shevchenko and David Luchford celebrated their wedding at the College, where they met while pursuing their MPhil degrees.
‘David and I met in the common room on the 30th of September. I came to one of the coffee and cake events organised for new students, and David was the first person I spoke to because I needed help with the hot water tap at the bar. Luckily, he knew how to use it so he helped me, like a true gentleman. I could see clearly that he liked me straight away, and we started dating quite soon after when we discovered we had a lot in common. David says it was destiny, and now I believe him. We are very grateful to Clare Hall, and to Cambridge in general, for the true love and happiness they have given us.’
