Ralph Erskine Building Restoration Fund

This fund allows us to address some of the most pressing backlog maintenance issues on the main site, including future-proofing the 1968 aluminium roof, revolutionary in its time but now requiring replacement, and addressing the acoustic issues in the Dining Hall. In addition, the external landscape that was originally designed by Erskine, along with all of the courtyards and pathways, was not built as the funding ran out. However, the original drawing, which is beautiful and evocative of Stockholm’s medieval Gamla Stan, is preserved and it would be wonderful if the College could bring Erskine’s vision to fruition.
