The Cambridge Trust has released a new short film, Opening Doors, now live on the homepage of its website.

The two-minute film highlights the life-changing impact of scholarships at Cambridge. It features the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Deborah Prentice, and Clare Hall Fellow and Cambridge Trust Director Helen Pennant, alongside two scholars, including recent Clare Hall graduate Anwesha Ganguly. Together, they reflect on how financial support enables talented students from around the world to thrive.

For more than forty years, the Cambridge Trust has supported over 22,000 scholars, helping to remove barriers to education and ensuring that exceptional ability is not limited by circumstance. In Opening Doors, Anwesha and fellow scholar Kesna reflect on their experiences and the opportunities made possible through scholarship funding.

Clare Hall is proud to see one of its recent graduates featured in this important initiative, which underscores the transformative role of philanthropy in academic life.

We warmly encourage members of the Clare Hall community to watch the film and explore the Trust’s newly relaunched website to learn more about its mission and impact.
