Dr Haoyang Ye

Haoyang is a research associate at the Astrophysics Group in the Department of Physics and has a particular interest in developing imaging and data analysis algorithms for radio telescopes. As a neurodivergent herself, Haoyang also works for ADRC as a mentor to support neurodivergent students.

Haoyang holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and a Ph.D. in developing imaging algorithms for radio interferometers. As a FAST fellow at Nanjing University, she contributed to FRB search and localisation. Subsequently, she worked with LOFAR at Leiden University on imaging of the ELAIS-N1 field in the northern sky.
