Leah Pitman is the Family Officer of the Graduate Student Body Committee (GSB) 2023/24

Leah completed her undergraduate Biochemistry degree in 2020, at the Univeristy of Maryland of College Park. Following this, she joined the National Institutes of Health as a post-baccalaureate fellow and undertook research in mRNA regulation and decay. Today, Leah is a first year PhD student researching at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action European Doctoral Network.
