Rishul Karia is the current President of the GSB Committee 2025/2026, co-founder of the Climate Sciences SIG, and captain of the football team.

He is a first-year PhD student in Engineering whose research centres on modelling the scalability of carbon capture technology. He previously completed an MPhil in Quantitative Climate and Environmental Sciences at Clare Hall and were elected President in August 2025.

Elected under the slogan “A Clare Hall for All,” Rishul remains committed to strengthening the college’s inclusive and welcoming culture. During his term, he aims to bring energy, creativity, and a wide range of engaging events, including themed formal dinners. Above all, he is focused on encouraging broad participation in college life and highlighting the diversity and vibrancy of Clare Hall within the wider Cambridge community.
