Clare Hall Postdoctoral Affiliate wins Innovate UK funding for new AI project
Clare Hall is delighted to share that Affiliated Postdoctoral Member and entrepreneur Dr Elizabeth Barsotti has won funding through the Innovate UK AI Champions Frontier AI competition with her company, CBX Technologies.

The award will support the development of CAMERA, or Causal Adaptive Multimodal Environment for Real-time Analysis, a new AI solution designed for infrastructure and Net Zero projects.
CAMERA will analyse evolving sources of information, including news and social media, to identify emerging public concerns and better understand what is driving them. By recognising these concerns at an earlier stage, the technology is intended to help organisations engage with communities more effectively and respond to issues before they become more difficult to address.
The project aims to make public engagement around major infrastructure projects more responsive and inclusive. By helping industry understand concerns as they develop, CAMERA could support greater trust between organisations and communities, improve consultation and reduce some of the risks that can contribute to project delays.
In the longer term, CBX Technologies hopes the technology will help deliver better outcomes for both communities and industry, particularly as major infrastructure and Net Zero projects continue to develop.
Further information about the project and its technology is available in the full CAMERA project description.
Clare Hall warmly congratulates Dr Barsotti and the team at CBX Technologies on this impressive achievement.
