Fiona Blake has had a long career as a psychiatrist in Oxford and Cambridge. She took a special interest in maternal mental illness and the service provision for mentally ill homeless people. She is currently a medical member of the Mental Health Tribunal service. She has also had long term interest in the visual arts. After leaving the NHS in 2016 she took a degree in Fine Art.  She continues to paint and curate. She is secretary of the Clare Hall Art Committee.
